NYFW

This past week has been New York Fashion Week. While the week started off with Snow Storm 'Nemo' that hit much of North America with 20cm+ of snow and some lovely blizzardly winds, it did not keep the chaos off the catwalks.

Michael Kors showcased his collection, featuring lots of blues and orange. The peplum was featured on many of his pieces, including the showstopper on Karlie Kloss.

J.Crew was all about the layers as well as the combination of textures. Pairing wool coats with knit sweaters and embossed pants keeping a more monochromatic colour choice. Also pairing basics with bold prints.

Victoria Beckham seemed to be inspired by the classic school girl look with wool tunics layered over a long sleeve, and riding outfits with long boots and layers.

Jenny Packham had a variety of colours on the A/W 13 runway. With dresses in a dark peach, red and navy all with elegant cuts and silhouettes. Chiffon overlay, sequin and rhinestone embellishments and deep v's and cutouts were featured in her collection.
